indigenous PeopleS and Land Acknowledgement

Though Zoom Out Therapy, LCC is a virtual space, its undisclosed physical address resides within what is colonially recognized as "Fall River, Massachusetts," which was the homeland of the tribal nations of the Wôpanâak (Wampanoag) and Pokanoket peoples. I recognize that Indigenous peoples are the traditional caretakers of the land we now occupy, living here long before Fall River was a town. I offer respect and gratitude to the many Indigenous peoples who reside in the Fall River area and across Massachusetts, as well as their ancestors.
